Green Bay Packers Football Season Is Upon Us!
Did you watch the Green Bay Packers face-off against the New England PAtriots last night? Football is officially BACK. Even if you’re not all that into the preseason games, the NFL’s regular season is less than a month away. If that wasn’t enough to look forward to, the 2015 season begins with a bang on September 13th.
Week 1, the Green Bay Packers face-off against their rival, the Chicago Bears. Green Bay’s season home opener begins with a match-up against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night football. These are two games you do not want to miss. If you’re unable to make it up to Lambeau on game days, feel free to stop in as we will have all the action on our TV’s here. We subscribe to DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket, so you can watch all of the games (because you know the Packers will never be blacked out). This is great for those Fantasy Football mangers out there!
The Packers have a week 7 bye this year. Four of their first six games are at home this year. After the bye, the Packers play the Denver Broncos. This game is the first time Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning have played on the same field since 2008, back when Manning still played for the Colts. You won’t want to miss this game…or any of them, really, since the Pack is going for their 5th straight division championship this year. However, there’s no other stretch of games that will matter so much as the games between November 15th and December 3rd as Green Bay has four straight weeks of division match-ups.
This year, the Packers play four 2014 Division Champions and six teams that were in the playoffs last January/February. This is the 14th toughest schedule in the NFL, based on 2014 records.
What we’re trying to say here is…It’s going to be a great season! Go Pack Go!
